Grass-fed Dairy, Milking Brown Swiss Cows, and Beef

We have a thirty six cow grass-fed dairy farm in south central Minnesota. The herd is made up of several breeds: Brown Swiss, Milking Shorthorn, and a few Holsteins. We practice rotational grazing during the growing season and feed baled hay the rest of the year. No corn silage is fed to the herd. Free range laying hens are incorporated into the grazing rotation. We have customers visit our farm four days per week to purchase wholesome natural fresh farm produce: milk, meat, and eggs. An on-farm creamery is being developed to diversify into value added products.
