Sweet Grass Creamery is growing, and we need an additional team member who would like to grow with us. We are a well-regarded, small, family-owned dairy with a reputation for producing high quality, all-natural dairy products, and superior customer service.
In collaboration with the Farm Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a full spectrum of farm activities and dairy processing:
Caring for calves
Feed milk, grain & water
Keep calf pens clean, dry, and bedded
Monitor individual calf health and inform farm manager of any illness observed
Feeding and watering herd
Milking cows
Cleaning barn
Assisting with routine animal health care procedures
General farm and property maintenance
Mowing lawn/pastures
Fixing fences
Equipment repairs
Dairy processing
Learn and operate machinery to pasteurize, process, flavor, and package dairy products
Assist in a fluid milk production environment
Daily sanitation and cleaning production equipment
Maintain a clean and neat work area
Other duties as assigned
