U.S. veterans interested in farming should attend an upcoming Farm Info Session from 1 to 3 p.m. Mon., Nov. 4, at U. of M. Extension, 3601 18th St S, #113, St. Cloud.
This free event, hosted by SFA and Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship, will include information about land access, gaining farm experience and knowledge, and other opportunities.
Speakers include Matthew Keesling, DGA Veterans Liaison; Bonnie Haugen, Southeastern Minnesota Education Coordinator; and Angie Walter, SFA/DGA Central Minnesota Education Coordinator.
