Irrigation plays a big role in pasture management this time of year and Daryn plans to discuss the use of this technology and the benefits derived from irrigation. We will discuss current pasture management and conditions as well as plans for regrassing of selected paddocks this fall. Concerning the cows, discussion will focus on details of this spring’s breeding season and projected results. We will also evaluate and discuss current body condition and seasonal body condition goals, and hear about the Koopals’ philosophy and methodology for replacement heifer development.
