Each year Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition brings together a diverse group of more than 400 people from throughout the Great Lakes region to attend the Great Lakes Restoration Conference. The conference provides a 3-day forum for participants to learn about important Great Lakes Restoration issues, network at the largest annual gathering of Great Lakes supporters and activists, and develop strategies to advance federal, regional and local restoration goals.
This year the conference will be held at Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio, the Roller Coaster Capital of the World! You’ll stay at Cedar Point’s beachfront hotel, The Breakers, located just steps away from Cedar Point. Enjoy an afternoon and evening at Put-in-Bay, experience diverse field trips, and a special evening just for conference attendees at Cedar Point’s Amusement Park complete with roller coaster rides and fair food! Finish up the evening by roasting marshmallows on the beach for your s’mores.
The Coalition has reserved a block of rooms for attendees to stay at the Breakers! The room rate is $159 per night.
Complimentary parking is available at the hotel.
Transportation to and from the Cleveland Airport will be available and arrangements can be made on the registration website. Please make sure to have your flight information handy when registering so that you can book the appropriate shuttle!
