Jessica is MGIC Director for Dairy Grazing Alliance (DGA), where she leads the organization’s online education platform and related instruction for the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship. She oversees curriculum delivery for Apprentices nationwide, while also managing a public-facing course catalog that serves farmers, industry professionals and aspiring graziers.

She hires, trains and manages DGA’s network of subject-matter expert instructors, ensuring coursework reflects real-world grazing systems, current research and practical farm application. Jessica also spearheaded the development and launch of DGA’s Spanish-language Apprenticeship pathway, enabling Spanish-speaking participants to complete the program and graduate as Journeyworkers in Managed Grazing Dairy — a significant expansion of access and equity within the dairy industry. As DGA’s behind-the-scenes technical expert, she supports the systems and platforms that make MGIC possible.

Jessica brings deep, hands-on experience to her work. She is a graduate of the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship and founder of MI Country Life, which bridges the communication gap between English and Spanish-speaking individuals in the agricultural industry. Jessica's career began in dairy extension while studying veterinary medicine in Mexico, where she supported farmers in a small community near Mexico City through the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

After earning her degree, Jessica moved to the United States and worked with one of Wisconsin’s largest dairy companies, gaining extensive experience in training, management, hoof trimming, reproduction, animal welfare and farm safety. She has managed organic and conventional farms, as well as operations using robotic milking systems.

Jessica is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Livestock Precision Technology, focusing on modeling and machine learning at Michigan State University, further strengthening the academic and practical foundation she brings to her leadership role.
