Angie Sullivan serves as Director of Operations at Dairy Grazing Alliance (DGA), where she oversees organizational infrastructure, financial and operational systems, compliance, and internal processes that support DGA’s mission and programs. In this role, Angie works closely with leadership and staff to ensure the organization operates with clarity, accountability and long-term sustainability during a period of growth and strategic transition. Her work provides the operational foundation that allows program staff and leadership to focus on impact, partnerships and farmer support.

Angie is responsible for strengthening internal operations across finance, grants administration, human resources, technology systems and organizational policy. Having spent 25 years in regenerative and organic agriculture, Angie's experience includes hands-on farming, nonprofit leadership and public-sector service. Prior to joining DGA, she served as Wisconsin Farm Center Supervisor at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, where she led a team providing financial viability and farm transition services to producers statewide. In that role, she also served as the organic and grazing specialist, managing the Wisconsin Organic Advisory Council and the Organic Certification Cost Share Reimbursement Program, and supporting producers pursuing organic certification.

Earlier in her career, Angie worked as an organic outreach specialist with the Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service and operated her own organic vegetable, flower and small livestock farm. She continues to work as an independent organic inspector and contracts with multiple certification agencies, maintaining close ties to on-the-ground farming realities and regulatory frameworks.

Across all of her work, Angie is known for her systems-oriented approach, her ability to translate complex requirements into workable processes, and her commitment to supporting farmers and staff with integrity and transparency. She brings a practical, relationship-centered leadership style to DGA’s operations, ensuring that growth is grounded in sound infrastructure and shared understanding.
