Alex Peterson is Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships & Market Development for Dairy Grazing Alliance (DGA). Alex spent 15 years working as a dairy farmer, managing and growing his family’s grazing operation in North Missouri. During that time, he served on the leadership of several farmer-led dairy industry boards, including Chair of the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board, Chair of the United Dairy Industry Association, Chair of the U.S. Dairy Export Council, as well as serving on cooperative leadership and the board of the National Milk Producers Federation.

Today, Alex leads DGA’s efforts to build the relationships and market alignment needed to scale grazing-based dairy in the United States. His work centers on connecting producers, brands, investors and supply-chain leaders around practical, market-driven strategies that support farmer profitability while meeting growing consumer demand for differentiated dairy. He is motivated by helping bridge on-farm realities with the partnerships and market signals needed to create durable opportunities for the next generation.
