Jim Jarman joined DGA’s board of directors in 2024 and serves as board treasurer. He is Chief Operating Officer at Neutral Foods, Inc. and Zeal Creamery.

Raised on a farm, Jim has always valued sustainable agriculture as a cornerstone of the food system. He is deeply connected to farmers and champions innovative solutions that benefit both the planet and its people.

A seasoned global executive with a passion for innovation and sustainability, Jim brings to DGA extensive experience spanning marketing, strategy and general management in the food and manufacturing industries. He specializes in creating value through strategic planning, customer-centric solutions, optimized go-to-market strategies, and product innovation.

Jim joined the DGA board because he sees firsthand the growing demand for grass-fed dairy, and the challenges that brands and retailers face in sourcing high-quality milk to meet this demand. He cares deeply about paying farmers a fair premium for providing a differentiated, verified product consumers increasingly desire, and believes this is an important way to ensure more family farms stay in operation, supporting rural agricultural communities.
